My Summer Road Trip - Back to the South

left New York a few days later. Took in a Barbecue in New Jersey, Visited Conney Island and took in the fireworks. Interesting all the way.

Left New York on Wednesday. Visited New Jersey, Delaware, Washington, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, spent a day in SC. Love SC much much.

Passed through Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.

My Summer Road Trip - New York

My journey took me through Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Newark New Jersey. We drove all day. Arrived in New York on Wednesday night. Most of the way after Tennessee were hills and farmland.

It feels good to be on flat ground once again. Finally arrived at my destination. Brooklyn. Will be there for three days.

My summer Road Trip - Arkansas

Kevin had to go to New York on business. He likes flying I do not. We decided to drive to New York and make it a summer fun trip. I loved the idea, he was reserved since he was going to do most of the driving.

It too us 5 hours just to reach the border of Arkansas. We started out at 4 am that morning and arrived in Arkansas at 9.00 am. Along the way, there were lots of farmlands and houses few and far between. I found that interesting since for miles there were no visible signs of shopping areas. That is a woman's worst nightmare. We were extremely tired so we napped in the truck for about 2 hours. Started back our journey and arrived at Arkansas Welcome Center in the Afternoon hours.

We drove most of the afternoon and soon came to the borderline of Tennessee. We got lunch, petrol and took a rest at the rest stop. I like Arkansas.
